Welcome to B&B Cascina Badona. We are Mark and Gabrielle and we cordially invite you to come and stay with us. Our B&B is surrounded by vineyards in one of the most beautiful spots of the UNESCO World Heritage area in the Monferrato. The lovely town of Nizza Monferrato is about 3 kilometres from the B&B. Should you want to go bigger, the cities of Turin, Genoa and Milan are within driving distance. But surely the reason to visit the Piedmont is its delicious food, fantastic wines, many activities and picturesque villages. In short, the Piedmont has everything for the active bon vivant.

B&B Cascina Badona perfectly complements life in the Piedmont. With its unique location, luxurious rooms, a fine swimming pool and our personal touch, this is an ideal holiday home for people who want to enjoy the good life in a quiet, cosy environment.

Your stay with us

During your stay, we want to make you feel at home. In our cosy, authentic former farmhouse, you can enjoy luxurious rooms with ensuite bathrooms, swim with views over the beautiful wine landscape and have a hearty breakfast in our garden or wine room in the morning. Throughout the day, you can grab coffee, tea and other drinks in the pantry. If there is sufficient interest, we organise a wine tasting or dinner evening in the Cascina.

We are happy to give you tips on the area or can help you book a restaurant or activity.

What the region has to offer

Cascina Badona is located in the Piedmont, in the beautiful area of Langhe, Monferrato and Roero. The rolling countryside around Nizza Monferrato has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2014. The area is still somewhat unknown to most tourists, but a must-see for lovers of wine and pure Italian cuisine, and that in a lovely rolling landscape full of picturesque villages. Alba, Acqui Terme and Asti can be reached within half an hour and in 1.5 hours you can be in big cities like Turin, Milan or Genoa. Should you want a day at the beach, the Ligurian coast with its beautiful beaches is an hour's drive from the cascina.

Practical information

The season of our B&B runs from 1 April to 23 November. We apply a minimum stay of 2 nights.

We will be in touch in advance to make your stay with us as pleasant as possible. Let us know your approximate time of arrival a day in advance so we can take this into account.

We are unfortunately not equipped to accommodate children and pets, our B&B is adults only. Given the stairs in the house and the irregular paths around the house, the B&B is difficult to access for people with mobility problems.

Our B&B Cascina Badona is located about 3 kilometres from the town of Nizza Monferrato. Here you will find all kinds of shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Parking is easy in Piazza Garibaldi, in the town centre.
